Organizational Chart
General Management and Supervision
  • Exercise general supervision over the Office;
  • Review and consolidate the budget proposals of different departments and offices of the local government unit;
  • Evaluate budgetary implications of proposed legislation;
  • Maintains personnel discipline; and plans, assigns, and evaluates specific task to personnel.
Barangay Budget Operation Section
  • Provides technical assistance to Barangays and SK in the preparation of their Annual and Supplemental Budget;
  • Review of Barangay Budget (annual and/or supplemental) before transmitting to Sangguniang Bayan Office;
  • Disseminate updates on barangay budgeting to Barangay/SK Officials;
  • Monitors and maintains barangay data and operation;
  • Conducts continuous trainings and seminars related to budgeting to Barangay/SK Officials;
  • Research and prepares recommendation of referrals regarding Barangay/SK budgeting
Municipal Budget Preparation, Review, Control, and Evaluation
  • Coordinates with the Local Chief Executive and Local Finance Committee and Sangguniang Bayan on budgetary matters;
  • Computes and analyze financial data;
  • Prepares Annual and Supplemental Budgets under General Fund and Special Education Fund;
  • Consolidates Budget proposals of offices/departments in preparation for budget hearings;
  • Prepares Quarterly Allotment Release Order;
  • Prepares and maintains Appropriations, Allotments, Obligations, and Disbursements in the appropriated registries (RAAO);
  • Prepares Obligation Requests (OBRs) of all funds and evaluates supporting documents;
  • Monthly posting of OBRs to the appropriate registry;
  • Monitors allotment balances per program/project/activity (P/A/P) of Offices;
  • Prepares quarterly monitoring report (Quarterly Physical Reports of Operations);
  • Maintains and updates Continuing Balances of different offices and special appropriations;
  • Evaluates and records Activity/Training designs for approval of the MBO as to appropriation;
  • Prepares required reports quarterly and annually (SAAOB, FDPP reports);
  • Coordinates with MPDC in the preparation of Annual Investment Plan
Administrative Services and Records Management
  • General administrative support in the Office;
  • Files and maintains all records;
  • Receive/Dispatch communications and other documents;
  • Provides technical assistance to queries of offices and other clients;
  • Prepares draft communications and financial reports
