More than 300 residents of Pasdong and nearby areas benefited from the ATOK SPEEDS Caravan held at the Barangay Hall Grounds in Proper Pasdong, Atok, Benguet, on Thursday, April 23.

The initiative was made possible through the partnership of the Local Government Unit of Atok, led by Mayor Franklin L. Smith, and the Barangay Local Government Unit of Pasdong, headed by Punong Barangay Cuilan P. Senio, bringing essential government services closer to the community.

Services offered included medical and dental care, circumcision, ophthalmology services, laboratory tests, consultations, free medicines, cancer screening, family planning services, non-communicable disease assessment, PhilHealth assistance, tuberculosis screening, nutrition counseling, legal services, and information, education, and communication (IEC) campaigns from both municipal and national offices.

Several national line agencies also took part in the caravan. The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) conducted voter registration, while the Bureau of Internal Revenue provided tax-related services.

The Barangay Local Government Unit of Pasdong, through Punong Barangay Cuilan P. Senio, welcomed the initiative and expressed appreciation to the municipal government and partner agencies for delivering vital services directly to the barangay.
